Biography :
It has been my pleasure to serve the real estate industry in North Georgia for the last 40 years. I have owned three different real estate companies and, I am real happy to be associated with United Country Talking Rock Realty at the present time. I grew up in Cherokee County and all my relatives live in Cherokee, Pickens or Gilmer Counties in North Georgia. After graduating from the Univ. of Georgia, I went into teaching and coaching for 3 years. During that time I decided to get my real estate license and as they say, the rest is history. While helping clients with their real estate needs, I decided to obtain a degree in law and ended up graduating and getting my J.D. degree. But real estate was always my first love and still is.
My wife, Tamara, and I live in Nelson, Ga. We have two children and three grand-children.
I would love to help you find the right piece of property in our beautiful North Georgia mountains. I know the decision to purchase or sell is a big one and I will take the time and care to make sure that it is a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

Testimonials
Ken helped me sell an unusual home and land and did it quickly for top dollar. He is a real pro at serving his clients effectively.- John Pool
It was a pleasure working with and getting to know Ken while we searched for a property matching a set of difficult requirements. Ken was excellent at providing the services and qualities we expected to receive-experience, local knowledge, research of the details, familiarity with other brokers, scheduling viewings and contacts with the many service providers like surveyors, contractors and closing attorneys. But Ken ended up being more than that. Combining experience with ethics, Ken went beyond , helping us with potential hazards that were out of sight, like when a seller's agent brushed up the facts a little too much, or when the history surrounding the property as told by the seller's agents, did not quite gel, or when the missing information was a little too convenient. Ken was quick to recognize all of it and helped us navigate the rough path that became inevitable. Hard-working, professional, and exceedingly ethical, even when it may have meant that a sale was less likely, Ken stuck with us for more than a year until we found the right property, and avoided the wrong ones.- Rick Marucci
